Description

Noticed since their first album (La Planète Inexplorée, 2018), the fiery Toulouse trio SLIFT is back and will release 'UMMON' at the end of February 2020, a double album with the air of a legendary epic. Composed during endless tours across Europe in 2019, conceived as the soundtrack of an imaginary film; UMMON is a dreamlike odyssey that features the Titans, their exile to the confines of space in search of their creators, and the return of the Titan Hyperion to Earth. Beyond the music and lyrics, which here take a much heavier, darker and more cinematic turn than in the past, it is about "all those questions to which we will never have answers," which carve their furrow into the hearts of men.
