Here are 'Space is The Key' and 'La Planète Inexplorée', Slift's 1st EP and 1st LP, together in a glorious double vinyl package! For this special occasion, illustrator Pierre Ferrero designed an alternative cover, and both albums were mastered by Jim Diamond. Recorded in Toulouse (2017 and 2018) by Lo Spider, these space rockets are made to be played loud. Noticed from their first album (La Planète Inexplorée, 2018), the fiery Toulouse trio SLIFT is back and released UMMON at the end of February 2020, a double album with the feel of a legendary epic. Composed during interminable tours across Europe in 2019, conceived as the soundtrack to an imaginary film; UMMON is a dreamlike odyssey that features the Titans, their exile to the far reaches of space in search of their creators, and the return of the Titan Hyperion to Earth. Beyond the music and text, which here take a much heavier, darker, and more cinematic turn than in the past, it's about 'all those questions to which we will never have answers', which carve their furrow into the hearts of men.
