After two acclaimed demos, Bloody Karnage (1984) and Surrender Or Die (1985), the Canadian trio Slaughter entered the studio in February 1986 to record their first vinyl: the mythical 7" Nocturnal Hell. Comprised of three ultra-violent tracks - "Nocturnal Hell", "One Foot In The Grave", and "Tortured Souls" - this single laid the foundations for the band's frenetic death/thrash. On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, High Roller Records is reissuing this cult classic in its original form today, a must-have for any extreme metal collector.
