Description

Sheldon makes his grand return with his second album, Spectre. Composed of 19 tracks, this project marks a more personal turning point in the artist's writing. Stripped of the conceptual universes developed in his previous works, Spectre takes us on a dive into the heart of the artist's life, revealing himself without concessions and speaking to us about departure, love, and the world around us.
By giving an important place to singing, the album blends the musical influences of the rapper who surrounded himself with Vidji Stratega (5 Majeur/Fixpen Sill) for the composition and mixing, and Epektase (Chillhop/Universal) as co-composer. Drawing from their respective universes, each brings their influences, from Lo-Fi to Cuban, Afro, trap, or cloud rap sounds, the album weaves a thread between the different facets of rap, sometimes calm and melancholic, sometimes egotrip and angry. True to his love for the collective, Sheldon invites several artists for features: Isha, Zinée, M le Maudit, Damlif, and Shien.
This new album also represents the realization of the strong bond that unites the artist to his audience. The crowdfunding campaign has far exceeded the set goal (365%) and has helped to bring together part of his community around a Discord that has become hyperactive.
