'Humanity - Hour 1' is the 21st studio album by the Scorpions and was produced in Los Angeles by legendary star producers Desmond Child and James Michael. The album is a concept album based on a novel by Liam Carl that describes a war between humans and machines, and deals with the general theme of humanity. Klaus Meine pursued a very modern sound in the production of the album, which should sound up-to-date without losing the character of Scorpions, and in some way combines the sound of early Scorpions with the production of later Scorpions. 'Humanity - Hour 1' has been remastered from the original tapes with a special touch and is now being released as a colorful 180g 2LP gatefold, pressed on gold vinyl. In addition to 'Humanity - Hour 1', 'Fly To The Rainbow', 'Tokyo Tapes', 'In Trance', 'Virgin Killer', 'Savage Amusement', 'Blackout', 'Lovedrive', 'World Wide Live', 'Taken By Force', 'Animal Magnetism' and 'Love At First Sting' will also be released as new colored vinyl editions.
