Best known for her adventurous and impeccable collaboration with the bluegrass band Nickel Creek, singer-songwriter SARA WATKINS releases her third solo album, *Young In All Wrong Ways*. This solo career gives her the opportunity to explore pop music and appropriate new sonic palettes. It's a pop that nonetheless takes root in her folk influences. The result is personal and contemporary music. This album, which the multi-instrumentalist describes as "a break-up with myself," includes 10 intense songs with hints of soul, and marks a certain departure from WATKINS' last two musical years.
