The shimmering follow-up to "Present Tense," the 1968 cult classic of pop-psyche from producers Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, Sagittarius ("My World Fell Down"), from 1969. The Blue Marble once again finds Usher crafting dreamscapes. As he did for "Present Tense," Usher enlisted the cream of Los Angeles studio professionals as well as members of the kindred-spirit group Millennium, and the results are once again magnificent. Layered with creamy vocal harmonies, brass, flute, and Moog synthesizer, The Blue Marble will appeal to fans of Millennium, the Association, the Yellow Balloon, and, likewise, grandiose baroque pop floating positively on the airwaves. Sourced from the original analog masters of 'Together Records,' these editions contain four bonus tracks on the CD and two bonus tracks on the LP.
