Alternating performances alongside Grant Green, Grover Washington Jr., Stanley Turrentine, Jimmy Smith, and Roberta Flack, the musician became best known for his contributions to the works of the great George Benson. Switching between Hammond organ and Fender Rhodes, the artist reinvented the genre and brought a distinctive groove that set him apart.
