Room with a view
Description
"Room With A View" marks Rone's return to his musical roots, as well as to the minimalist setup of his early albums: stripped-down electro and solo production, without collaborators. The album was conceived alongside a carte blanche offered to him by the Théâtre du Châtelet, a show directed and choreographed by the Collectif (LA) HORDE, accompanied by 20 dancers from the Ballet National de Marseille. This new form of collaboration allowed him to explore what was most sincere and deepest in his music. Musically, Rone sheds new light on what defines his signature, pleasing both his early fans and lovers of electronica. The melodic beats of "Ginkgo Biloba" coexist with tracks openly influenced by more classical styles, such as Boards of Canada ("La Marbrerie") or Aphex Twin's SAW-era ("Raverie"), while euphoric dancefloor rhythms nestle alongside resolutely contemplative synths. In this regard, Sophora Japonica demonstrates Rone's unparalleled talent for creating atmospheres, even going so far as to completely forgo drums. Elsewhere, Rone reconnects with the club energy of his album "Tohu Bohu" and incorporates elements of dub. Everything points toward an adventurous and stimulating listening experience.Buy Room with a view at the best price
