Pour Rhye, (Michael Milosh), the home represents the nerve center of creativity and community. Just like the culmination of an inner journey, the home is like a soothing balm for the soul - a place to be oneself. Throughout his career, this songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has wandered between Toronto, Montreal, Thailand, the Netherlands, Germany, and Los Angeles, several times. Since the meteoric rise of Rhye with his first album 'Woman' - 2013 -, he has experienced a lot on the road, giving between 50 and 100 concerts a year. The album was written between 2019 and 2020, recorded in his home studio as well as at United Recording and Revival at The Complex, mixed by Alan Mould (Nine Inch Nails, Interpol, My Bloody Valentine, U2, The Killers). 'Home' is typical of Rhye in its propulsive beats, orchestral flourishes, and voluptuous melodies illustrated on the piano, as well as this gender-neutral voice. A sensual assembly that has never been so coherent and alive.
