Like the culmination of an inner journey, home is a soothing balm for the soul—a place to be yourself.Throughout his career, this singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has wandered between Toronto, Montreal, Thailand, the Netherlands, Germany, and Los Angeles, multiple times. Since Rhye's meteoric rise with his debut album 'Woman' in 2013, he has spent much of his time on the road, giving between 50 and 100 concerts per year.The album was written between 2019 and 2020, recorded in his home studio as well as at United Recording and Revival at The Complex, mixed by Alan Mould (Nine Inch Nails, Interpol, My Bloody Valentine, U2, The Killers). 'Home' is typical of Rhye in its propulsive beats, orchestral flourishes, and voluptuous melodies illustrated on piano, along with that genderless voice.
