"Themes For Dreams marks a turning point in the career of Will Miller, a musician, composer and producer from Chicago, who here shows himself more meditative, patient and thoughtful than ever. Thirteen magnificent tracks of remarkable coherence set aside the drums in favor of immersive melodies that float, dissipate and persist. An album conducive to relaxation, with arrangements so enveloping they provide the sensation of a gentle warmth. Although it is his most stripped-down work to date, Miller retains his exceptional collaborative spirit, with the participation of artists such as Marta Sofia Honer, Jeremiah Chiu, Macie Stewart, Matt Gold, William Corduroy, Molly Rife and many others. Themes for Dreams is the first self-produced album from the new label L'UNIVERS de Resavoir, after three albums on International Anthem. Resavoir has toured extensively in Europe and the UK, has opened for Khruangbin, BADBADNOTGOOD and Kassa Overall, and will headline a major Resavoir orchestra concert (18 musicians) at Millennium Park in Chicago in 2025. A US and Europe/UK tour is planned for fall 2026, positioning Themes for Dreams as a high-quality album for fans of jazz and multi-genre vinyl.
