Freigeweht

Description

Released in 1981, ‘Freigeweht’ is the very first ECM album as leader for Rainer Brüninghaus, legendary keyboardist of Eberhard Weber's Colours and the Jan Garbarek Group. Surrounded by label mainstays such as Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn and Jon Christensen on drums, as well as oboist Brynjar Hoff, Brüninghaus reveals himself to be a composer and sound sculptor with a perfectly original style. This Luminessence edition is presented in a tip-on gatefold jacket with new liner notes.
