Description

Seven years after their album "Debussy et le jazz", the musicians of the Quatuor Debussy had the idea of celebrating Ravel in three very different ways. In addition to the famous Quartet, they record here a transcription of Ma mère l'Oye by Alain Brunier, and invite vibraphonist Franck Tortiller to join the party, blending jazz improvisations with the original text of Le Tombeau de Couperin — a genre that Ravel, as we know, particularly appreciated.
