PRINCESSES LEYA Big Bang Therapy   Formed in 2017, PRINCESSES LEYA was born from the collaboration between Antoine Schoumsky (known for his work with Golden Moustache and Studio Bagel, a screenwriter whose voice you'll recognize if you're a fan of French dubbing) and Dedo (who made a mark on an entire generation with "L'Histoire racontée par des chaussettes" and, after performing at the Jamel Comedy Club, now tours France as a stand-up comedian). Both metal fans, and seeking to blend this shared culture with humor, they teamed up to form an antagonistic duo: Dedo embodies the real metal clichés (yes, there are some) and Antoine represents the clichés that outsiders spread without understanding. This new album, titled BIG BANG THERAPY, is a playful nod to the escalating scale of current superhero movies: in their previous work, the Princesses had to save a dimension full of idiots to return to their Earth. This time, the Princesses don't have to save ONE dimension but ALL dimensions! How? With metal, of course, for the survival of their Earth. Narrative escalation? Obviously! But this time, less skits and more music. No more covers! Only original compositions from their guts. Basically, the Princesses are done with acne; these delayed adolescents are determined to become immature adults.
