Tropical suite

Description

We knew Poni Hoax with a shiver, in 2006, the Parisians released a first album where the wind blew strong and cold: we discovered a band under 80's influence, musically geolocatable between Great Britain and New York. With plenty of fat guitars and keyboards, the temptation of sonic chaos then embraced melodies that were a bit fresh, rather obscure. In 2008, Poni Hoax released a second album. Images of Sigrid pushes the electro a little further, delivers a real hit, the very disco Antibodies. "Tropical Suite" is a triptych melody where each part corresponds to a continent, a tropical western. Dark and cinematic disco. -
