Multi-platinum US rock band P.O.D. is back with a bang with *Veritas*, their eleventh album and undoubtedly their most impactful record to date. Lovers of all forms of music, P.O.D. have always incorporated everything into their art, from rock to reggae, hip-hop to punk. "We flirt with so many different styles," explains Curiel. But this time, P.O.D. decided to get back to basics. "We made the decision to stay in the rock zone," says Sandoval. "These songs remind me of the raw, unbridled energy of classic South San Diego P.O.D.," adds Daniels.
*Veritas* is a true shot of adrenaline for the eardrums. It is also one of the most emotionally inspired albums of the band's career. The word *Veritas* – which translates to "Truth" in Latin – defines the emotional core of the album, and the cover art embodies this message even better: for Curiel, the *Veritas* cover, depicting a child with dark-circled eyes, signifies "the height of innocence and dark hidden truths."
