Laissons à Philippe Catherine le soin de présenter lui-même ce nouveau projet capté en concert le 13 janvier 2015 : « When the director of the legendary concert hall of Flagey invited me as part of the Brussels Jazz Festival for a special project, I decided, with the valuable help of Nicolas Fiszman, that the time had come to present a selection of my own songs with a string orchestra. The premiere took place on January 13, 2015. Everyone who participated, my band, the nine arrangers, the string orchestra and their conductor, not to mention the sound engineers, contributed to making this concert an exceptional and magical moment, greeted from the last note by a standing ovation from the entire audience. After hearing the sound recording from the Flemish Belgian television, and to our own surprise, we realized that these recordings could very well be the subject of a CD due to their quality. It was then that ACT entered the story by proposing to release the album you are holding today. Enjoy listening! ».
