Part of the "Disco" album series by Pet Shop Boys, which began in 1986, this new volume "Disco 5" offers 12 remixes by Pet Shop Boys of artists such as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Tina Turner, Claptone, Wolfgang Tillmans, among others... Also included are a remix of one of their own tracks, "Dreamland" (feat. Olly Alexander), the remix of "I'm in Love With a German Film Star" by Sam Taylor-Johnson, originally released in 2008 on the Kompakt label, and the remix of "Let the Music Play" by Carroll Thompson, which appeared in 1992 on the soundtrack of the film "The Crying Game". Furthermore, "Disco 5" contains their remix of the cover "West End girls" by Sleaford Mods, and that of "Purple Zone", based on their collaboration with Soft Cell.
