The eighth album by Paul Kalkbrenner, "Parts of Life," will be released on May 18, 2018, ten years after the iconic album "Berlin Calling," certified double platinum. After ten years of live performances and presence in the charts, Paul K unveils a new album of similar scope, which will undoubtedly be supported by a growing techno audience. "Parts of Life" follows the trilogy "Back to the Future," telling the genesis of techno music in Berlin during the late 80s. It is clear that these raw recordings have left their mark. "Parts of Life" is a refined work that is both powerful, enjoyable, and dynamic. It is Paul’s most personal and profound work. Each track is simply named after the source file used in production. The visuals for the titles and the album artwork are drawn by Eisel (Paul K's uncle) and feature personal objects of Paul Kalkbrenner.
