Born in Tallinn in 1962, Paavo Järvi is considered one of the most eminent conductors of his generation, a favorite of musicians and audiences alike. Renowned for his energetic interpretations, original programming, and above all for the technicality of his conducting, he has held important positions with major orchestras, such as the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and, more recently, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
