Description

Tchaikovsky. Here are the 6 famous opuses gathered together, completed by the Capriccio Italien, Romeo and Juliet, the Waltz and the Polonaise from Eugene Onegin, the Coronation March and Francesca da Rimini. After two first volumes praised by the international press (Diapason d'Or, Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik...), we decided to immediately release the complete box set, on the occasion of the reopening of the orchestra's hall, the prestigious Tonhalle. Located on the shores of Lake Zurich and inaugurated by Brahms in 1895, this hall, world-renowned for its acoustics, is reborn after several years of work. In this exceptional setting, there is no doubt that Paavo Järvi and the Tonhalle-Orchester will write a new chapter in international musical life...
