After a series of vinyl singles, PM Warson's debut album "True Story," released in 2021, combined elements of pop, rhythm and blues, and soul, with an authenticity and energy that captivated a new audience and critics across the Channel. The breakout single "(Don't) Hold Me Down" was initially noticed by soul collectors before finding a wider audience through a Fred Perry editorial and then on the BBC, where Craig Charles included it in his "Trunk of Funk" playlist. P.M. Warson returns just over a year later with his second album, "Dig Deep Repeat." This time, it's more pop-rock. "Dig Deep Repeat" further explores this rock sound, the 60s soul spirit, and some New Wave nuances.
