While the singer and multi-instrumentalist excels at rekindling the flame of 60s rhythm & blues and soul, he had to thoroughly study Delta Blues, Americana, early jazz, and rock'n'roll to perfect his timeless musical discourse. After a series of self-released vinyl singles, PM Warson released his debut album, True Story, in 2021, a pure gem of old-school groove with ambitious orchestrations. Frustrated at not being able to present his first work live due to lockdowns, the Londoner quickly began writing his second full-length album, Dig Deep Repeat, still on the Légère Recordings label, which FIP described as masterful. Recorded at Lightship 95 in London, the 10 original tracks combine the feel of a live performance with a more elaborate approach to production. The album is led by the singles "Right Here, Last night" and the title track "A Little More Time," which set the tone with a dose of vintage pop and uptown soul. "For this album, I wanted to channel the sound I had developed playing with a band, while further exploring my compositions. I let my broader influences soak in a little more and brought the vocals more to the forefront in the songs," says PM Warson.
