Renowned contemporary country music singer-songwriter and artist Orville Peck is releasing his second album, "Bronco." A true collection of stories, "Bronco" is a country rock album where the theme of the horse, so often present in Orville's work, is omnipresent. But the album also explores themes of freedom, the desire to be wild and untamed, and to break free from everything that holds us back. Bolder, more modern, and warmer, "Bronco" follows the album "Pony" and the EP "Show Pony," which mainly dealt with love, loss, and loneliness. "This is my most passionate and authentic album to date," explains Orville Peck. "I was inspired by country rock music, but also psychedelic music from the 60s and 70s, California and bluegrass, and everything rooted in country music. 'Bronco' is about total liberation. It's the culmination of a year of touring, a period of writing in isolation, as I finally get my head above water after a difficult personal period." Known for his prodigious tours, Orville Peck spent most of 2021 on the road with an extensive tour across the United States and festival performances, including Lollapalooza and Governor's Ball. Last year, he also opened for Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden, was the face of Beyoncé's Ivy Park Rodeo collection, appeared in a Dior advertising campaign, performed at Miley Cyrus's Stand by You PRIDE special broadcast on NBC, and covered Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" for the re-release of the album of the same name. He also appeared in an episode of This Is Pop on Netflix, and more recently one of his tracks was synced in an episode of season 2 of HBO's series Euphoria.
