NOVALIMA is a Peruvian group whose unique style blends Afro-Peruvian music with Electro sounds and Latin rhythms. Noticed from their very first eponymous album released in the early 2000s, the group was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2001, then won an IMA (The Independent Music Awards) in the "World Fusion" category in 2006, thanks to "Afro," their second album released on the Mr Bongo label. NOVALIMA now presents "Planetario," a new World-colored album, which will be released soon on the Wonderwheel Recordings label (ALSARAH & THE NUBATONES, NICKODEMUS, SORCERESS, etc.).
