Nina Simone's big breakthrough came with the recording of her concert on September 12, 1959, at New York's Town Hall. The album *Nina Simone at Newport* is an attempt to replicate the success of that live album. It features Nina's performances of "Trouble in Mind" and "You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To," among others. Simone is accompanied by her rhythm section of Al Schackman on guitar, Chris White on bass, and Rob Hamilton on drums.
