Description

Nicolas Godin is a member of the famous French duo Air. Along with Daft Punk, Air is the emblem of the electronic "French touch," with over 3 million albums sold, classic tracks such as "Sexy Boy" or "Playground Love" but also cult soundtracks like "Virgin Suicides." "Contrepoint," his first solo album, was inspired by the repertoire of Bach and the musical technique of counterpoint. Thus, each song on the album uses a different piece from the famous German composer as a starting point, resulting in a very personal outcome: a varied and sensual album, featuring an international cast of contributors: singer Gordon Tracks (whom people know better as Thomas Mars, singer of Phoenix), Brazilian singer Marcelo Camelo, Italian writer Alessandro Barrico, New Zealand guitarist Connan Mockasin, and the choir of the F.A.M.E'S Project from Macedonia.
