How do you follow up an album as artistically and commercially successful as "The Death Defying Unicorn"? Motorpsycho don't really ask themselves that question. The band has been playing for nearly 25 years, without worrying about trends or expectations, or considering any strategic career moves. For "Still Life With Eggplant," they assembled 20 songs that Bent Sæther describes as "other music" and went into the studio in Trondheim, where they recorded their very first albums two decades ago.
