For a long time, Mono have drawn inspiration from both the light and darkness of life, giving birth to over two decades of musical turbulence and melodic transcendence. "Heaven Vol. 1" marks the beginning of a new annual Mono tradition: a digital EP released on Christmas Day each year with 3 new songs, leaning into the light at the precise moment we need it most - surrounded by our loved ones and hoping for what the turning of the calendar can bring us. Recorded by Takaakira 'Taka' Goto in his home studio in Japan (with drums recorded by Amak Golden at Golden Hive Studio in Prague), and mixed by Rafael Anton Irisarri and Jeremy deVine at Black Knoll Studio in New York, "Heaven Vol. 1" (now released on two different 10"-EP-releases) finds Mono at their most hopeful and cinematic!
