Description

The story of Michael J. Sheehy begins in 1995 when he founded his first band, named after a porn cinema in London (Dream City Film Club). The band released three albums with Beggars Banquet before splitting up in 1999. Sheehy subsequently released 5 solo albums and also played with the bands The Hired Mourners and Saint Silas Intercession. Despite repeated commercial failures and an addiction to alcohol, Michael J. Sheehy persevered and founded MIRACULOUS MULE in 2011 with Patrick Sheehy (bass/vocals) and their childhood friend Ian Burns (drums). Two Tonne Testimony follows their 1st album Deep Fried in 2013 and their mini album Blues Uzi in 2014. This new opus blends sharp blues, gospel, elements of psychedelic rock, and stoner in a collection of songs that illustrate a complicated period.
