Michael J. Sheehy's story begins in 1995 when he formed his first band, named after a London porn cinema (Dream City Film Club). The band released three albums on Beggars Banquet before breaking up in 1999. Sheehy subsequently released 5 solo albums and also played with the bands The Hired Mourners and Saint Silas Intercession. Despite repeated commercial failures and an alcohol addiction, Michael J. Sheehy persevered and founded MIRACULOUS MULE in 2011 with Patrick Sheehy (bass/vocals) and their childhood friend Ian Burns (drums). Two Tonne Testimony follows their 2013 debut album Deep Fried and their 2014 mini-album Blues Uzi. This new opus blends sharp blues, gospel, psychedelic rock elements, and stoner rock into a collection of songs that illustrate a complicated period.
