Finally, the second album from Trio Canonge, Alibo, Dolmen: original compositions of high-flying Caribbean jazz. Around the quest for an imaginary absolute, these three shamans, Mario Canonge, Michel Alibo, and Arnaud Dolmen, come together to celebrate the very essence of the Earth within its original magma, like a burning blood that gives life. This opus, named "Caldeira," which represents the circular depression at the heart of a volcanic edifice, recalls the refined music of this Trio, born from an eruption of ideas as creative as they are innovative. The brilliant notes of this almost mystical triptych are joined by those of the virtuoso saxophonist Godwin Louis, an American jazzman of Haitian origin.
