Michael Nau is a wildly poetic artist, especially when it comes to describing his dedication to music, and the work resulting in this remarkable collection of songs, all more passionate than the last. This sprawling new album was entirely recorded in the two-bedroom of guitarist Benny Yurco in Burlington, Vermont. It is the first time that a Michael Nau album has been recorded entirely in one place. The songs on this album have something sunny and familiar. Not completely folk, not completely rock, this new album from the musician consists of beautiful ballads with poetic and sunny accents.
