Initially scheduled for release on June 20th Young saxophonist Mette Henriette presents 'Drifting,' a trio album of profound linguistic originality. Accompanied by Johan Lindvall on piano and cellist Judith Hamann, she invents a new kind of chamber music. Through its recurring motifs and patterns, the music develops a sense of narration that is as complex as it is elliptical. Ambitious and experimental music, with muffled textures and rich tonalities, combining precision and clarity.
