Mecano was a Spanish pop group, considered a pioneer of techno-pop, new wave, and synth-pop in Spain. The group was active mainly between 1981 and 1992. The group was composed of singer Ana Torroja (with her incredible voice, recognizable from the first words) and the Cano brothers, Nacho and José Maria Cano. Their success was phenomenal, not only in the Hispanic world (Spain, South America), but also internationally (Japan, Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, and of course France). Released in 1986, "Entre el Cielo y el suelo" is the band's 4th studio album.
