Mecano was a Spanish pop group, considered a pioneer of techno-pop, new wave, and synth-pop in Spain. The group was active mainly between 1981 and 1992. The group was composed of lead singer Ana Torroja with her incredible, recognizable voice (from the very first words) and the Cano brothers, Nacho and José Maria Cano. Their success was phenomenal, not only in the Hispanic world (Spain, South America), but also internationally (Japan, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, and of course France). "¿Dónde Esta el País de las Hadas?" is the group's 2nd studio album, released in 1983.
