Carried by prestigious guests, the album Sonars brings together emblematic voices around Maxime Dangles and Tommy Rizzitelli: Oxmo Puccino (Continent plastique), Craig Walker, former singer of the groups Archive and Power of Dreams (on Bug and Delusion), as well as Aur (Reef).Conceived at the heart of the Art/Science project of the same name, Sonars draws its source from reflections on ecology and the mutation of aquatic fauna and flora. It was in Rimouski, on the shores of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, that the duo absorbed the images and sensations transcribed in this record. The result is a set of breathless tracks, carried by a sophisticated assembly of machines and drums, where the organic blends with climate urgency.Romain Da Silva Santos (Tape Source) enriches the album with his guitars, while photographer Jean Gaumy signs the cover with one of his shots.
