Chopin under the fingers of Lukas Geniusas: a revelation! Since his First Prize at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw in 2010, the Russian-Lithuanian pianist Lukas Geniusas has maintained an unbroken love for the Polish composer. After a first album on Mirare dedicated to Sergei Prokofiev in 2018, he dedicates this disc to him, which reveals two almost antagonistic faces: that of the mazurkas, a brief dive into Chopin's soul, imbued with the nostalgia of his native Poland, and the ardent Third Sonata, one of his most masterful architectures.
