Parole
Description
The 1980s were a golden age for Mike Mareen and his label, Night'n'Day Records. In just a few years, Mareen built a solid reputation on the German electronic dance music scene, excelling both as an innovative artist and as a successful producer. His tracks, as well as those he produced for other artists, dominated the charts and filled the pockets of DJs across Europe. Luisa, a singer from Bad Oeynhausen who recorded "Parole" under Mareen's direction, is one of the most remarkable talents he cultivated. With its Italian title and lyrics written by Italian songwriter Rocco Caruso, the track exuded a summery atmosphere. Although it was not a massive hit at the time, "Parole" became a staple in DJ sets throughout the Eastern Bloc, quietly gaining fans through its airy charm. Over the years, the track has grown increasingly cult, and today there are even more reasons to celebrate it. Recently unearthed session tapes from Night'n'Day Records have revealed unreleased versions of "Parole." These rare gems, along with the original version and a special DJ edit, are now part of a brand new reissue, fresh and ready to spin for a new generation. Get ready to rediscover the magic of "Parole" — a timeless piece of 80s nostalgia brought back to life!Buy Parole at the best price
