A new extraordinary collaboration for the Animalerie's flagship duo! Requiem/Nativité stands out from previous albums both in terms of Oster Lapwass's compositions (who experiments more than ever) and Lucio Bukowski's writing and interpretation. This is not just about death and birth, but about the successive deaths and births of each man and woman at every moment of their existence. Whether it's about art, love, daily routine, or social issues, there's nothing linear, nothing fixed, but a continual movement: that of experience and beauty, terror and creation... In this sense, Lucio Bukowski and Oster Lapwass bypass the "rules and dogmas" of rap (whether modern or "classic") to create an album with a unique sound and unclassifiable musicality. The compositions move and live, transforming along the way, while the lyrics sometimes take unusual paths (using embracing rhymes, prose...) and changing flows. The format of the songs themselves is part of the refusal to conform (ranging from two to over thirteen minutes). Uncompromising and out of the ordinary.
