True to the style that made her famous, *Lost Souls* features eleven original compositions of Celtic, Arabic and Middle Eastern inspiration, blending into a soundtrack as nuanced as it is captivating. Composed over several years, some tracks from *Lost Souls*, heard fleetingly live, remain unreleased in studio versions. The other tracks were created more recently, over the course of her latest projects and travels. Some are inspired by the poems of John Keats and W.B. Yeats, while another evokes the delights of the Middle East. The album *Lost Souls* offers a collection of eclectic impressions and expressions adapted for our sole pleasure. McKennitt, on piano for several tracks, is accompanied by her long-time collaborators Caroline Lavelle on cello, Hugh Marsh on violin, Brian Hughes on guitar, and Dudley Phillips on bass. With her clever blend of pop, folk and world music on a Celtic background, having sold over 14 million albums worldwide, Loreena has garnered numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications in over fifteen countries across four continents.
