This 45-rpm single contains the first two songs released as part of the #PittLibresBonus operation, which involves making new Pitt Ocha tracks by Les Ogres de Barback available on platforms before releasing them on vinyl in this unique format.
Side A:

When Les Ogres team up with La Machine – an emblematic quartet from the new traditional music scene – the result is inevitably a unique track, steeped in the popular music of Central France but with a much broader musical horizon… Because La Machine has that unique, compact, and enchanting hurdy-gurdy
bagpipe sound, combined with the swaying and tribal groove of the percussion
double bass rhythm section. As for Les Ogres, their approach to French chanson has long been open to the world… Carried by a duet vocal, this borderless track is an irresistible invitation to dance.

"Je me suis fait tout petit". Les Ogres cover Brassens: an obvious choice! But in their own way, which is another obvious choice. No imitation or mimicry here, but a real appropriation, with rich and delicate arrangements – one of their signatures – where piano, trumpet, and strings accompany the inevitable acoustic guitar. And a male
female duet vocal that shines with its harmony and sweetness, original and contemporary, but which never forgets to serve the incomparable pen of our friend Georges. A beautiful tribute that once again reminds us that a great song shines through its ability to transcend ages.
