A Philadelphia native, KURT VILE's lyrics deal with space, distance, religion, and his life as a musician. He formed The War on Drugs with Adam Granduciel in 2004, a band in the vein of Calexico, featuring psychedelic organ sounds. Going solo in 2008, Kurt Vile released his opus Constant Hitmaker on Gulcher Records, quickly noticed by the Matador label. His second album God Is Saying This To You followed, then the magical Childish Prodigy, and finally the fourth sonic diamond Smoke Ring For My Halo. This is an exclusive and limited repress of his 2nd album!
