Released in 1986 by Noise Records, 'Pleasure to Kill' is the second studio album by German thrash metal band Kreator. It is widely regarded as a thrash metal classic, alongside Metallica's 'Master of Puppets', Megadeth's 'Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?', Slayer's 'Reign in Blood', Destruction's 'Eternal Devastation', and Dark Angel's 'Darkness Descends', all released in 1986. The album played a considerable role in the development of many extreme metal subgenres, and death metal bands like Cannibal Corpse cite the album as a major influence.
