In Blue

The first CD is therefore entirely occupied by "Into the Blue". Yet, as long as it is, it doesn't take much time to impress. In Blue is considered a great album by Klaus SCHULZE, and rightly so. The crossover of the Berlin School and more recent electronic music, as well as a return to less convoluted music, has paid off. The best of In Blue, however, is found on the second CD. Just by reading the tracklist, the title "Return to the Tempel" should catch your attention, and not just a little. Indeed, K.S invites Manuel Gottsching, with whom he co-founded ASH RA TEMPEL. Even if the two musicians have always more or less kept in touch, one must go back to 1981 to hear Gottsching play on a SCHULZE album (Tonwelle). Here, one should not be fooled either: if Gottsching and SCHULZE return to the Tempel, the former plays over the latter's music. The piece itself, meanwhile, is sublime. This masterful return is followed by "Serenade in Blue". This piece falls in the vein of "Into the Blue", but calmer and more homogeneous". (https://fp.nightfall.fr/)
