Formed from the still-smoldering ashes of Punk, the Londoners quickly established their music as a force to be reckoned with, blending an omnipresent bass groove with electro sounds and the searing guitars of suffocating Punk. Far beyond a Post-Punk that gladly veered towards nascent New Wave, Killing Joke paved the way for future stars of the Industrial Rock scene.
