Julian and Roman Wasserfuhr offer jazz with a refined, emotion-filled style. Music is inspired, shaped, and developed by the places it inhabits. And that is where the creative impulse that producer Siggi Loch provides to Julian and Roman Wasserfuhr lies: his continuous search for new contexts for their playing opens up previously unimaginable musical perspectives for them. After their musical journey to Sweden in 2009 and Brooklyn in 2017, the brothers went to the west coast of Ireland and John Fitzgerald’s Lettercollum Studio in Cork. And for the first time, they are joined by cellist Jörg. "Relaxin' in Ireland" is a very personal insight into the Emerald Isle through the language of music; it tells how the surroundings of West Cork enchanted the trio during their musical creation.
