In 2015, he posted his first tracks on SoundCloud. It was in 2017 that he began to make an impression with his EP Juice Wrld 999. A title that refers both to his year of birth (1999) and the number of the beast upside down. Produced entirely by Nick Mira and Sidepce, the project showcases Juice Wrld's talent: his sense of melody, his lyrics on the edge of emo, and an innate talent for songwriting. Hip-hop, more than any other music, disregards the rules. While the movement is still young, the kids who grew up with this music are now the ones making it. These same kids who grew up listening to pop, rock, punk, and who today mix all these genres. Take Juice Wrld, this 20-year-old rapper from Chicago draws his inspirations from rock and blends them with his main influence, the Drill scene of his city for a most explosive result.
