For her first album with Barclay, and her fourth after two studio albums, "12 TIMES A YEAR" (gold record, Public Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique), "WATER" (gold record) and a live album, Jeanne Cherhal offers us 11 new songs connected by a common thread - a charade in four parts - which names the album. Jeanne is at the helm and plays all the instruments. Keyboards, of course, but also guitars, bass, drums, synthesizers, and all sorts of discoveries. Recorded between Madrid and Paris with the collaboration of director and engineer Yann Arnaud (Air, Syd Matters, Sébastien Schuller...), Jeanne delivers an album with a direct, uninhibited tone, supported by an astonishing instrumental richness where classic songwriting is shaken up by pop avant-gardism, sound and vocal experiments.
